EMULSION-TYPE COSMETIC COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-type cosmetic composition suppressing yellowing with time while formulating an amino-modified silicone. SOLUTION: The emulsion-type cosmetic composition is prepared by formulating the amino-modified silicone with at least one compound selected from hydroxyethanediphosphonic acid and a salt thereof. The product of the amino content (milliequivalents/g) of the amino-modified silicone with the amount formulated (mass%) thereof is 1-7. The amount of at least one compound selected from the hydroxyethanediphosphonic acid and a salt thereof is 0.04-1 mass%. The emulsion-type cosmetic composition exhibits remarkable effects when pH is 2-7. The yellowing can be suppressed even when a vegetable oil readily causing yellowing with time is further formulated.
