PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meat slicer, without increasing cost, having durability, and easy in operation, by making a thickness adjusting plate removable, by enabling a fine adjustment for making a thickness adjusting quantity by the thickness adjusting plate and a meat sending quantity by a meat sending conveyor different. SOLUTION: A bevel gear 5a installed on a meat sending quantity adjusting shaft 5, and a bevel gear 9a installed on a sliding shaft 9 for sliding a holding plate 6a of the thickness adjusting plate 6 in the blade surface direction of a round blade 1, are directly meshed with each other. A resilient spring 12 is arranged on the outer periphery of the meat sending quantity adjusting shaft 5. The meat sending quantity adjusting shaft 5 is rotatably operated with bevel gears 5a meshed with 9a. When pressing the resilient spring 12, meshing of both bevel gears 5a and 9a is released. When rotatably operating the meat sending quantity adjusting shaft 5 in this state, the sliding shaft 9 does not rotate.
