LAMP UNIT AND BACKLIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

A lamp unit, a backlight unit using the lamp unit, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) are provided to form a wire receiver for receiving a wire at a lamp cover to arrange the wire easily, thereby simplifying a lamp unit assembling process. A lamp unit includes a lamp(220), a wire(240) electrically connected to the lamp, and a lamp cover(250) for reflecting light emitted from the lamp. The lamp cover includes a lamp receiver(250a) for receiving the lamp and a wire receiver(250b) for receiving the wire. The wire receiver is extended from the lamp receiver. The wire receiver envelops at least a part of the wire and is bent such that at least a part thereof is opened to receive the wire.
