<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat cushion airbag device capable of weakening a lift of an occupant and an increase in the load on a belly even when the occupant is seated in a comfortable posture while suppression of a submarine phenomenon in a regular seating is maintained as usual in a head-on collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular seat cushion airbag device 1 comprises a seat cushion airbag 10, and a gas leakage adjusting device 20 for suppressing or permitting leakage of an inflation gas by the application of the weight of an occupant through a gas leakage passage 12 and a vent hole 13. The leakage adjusting device 20 is arranged so as to be located at a seat cushion rear part 2a. Any leakage of the inflation gas is suppressed thereby in a collision of the vehicle when the occupant M is deeply seated in a seat, and the gas leakage of the inflation gas is permitted in a collision of the vehicle when the occupant M is seated in the seat in a comfortable posture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
