PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driven steering column device for achieving a simple and compact constitution. SOLUTION: A device for driving a column body 1 in tilting and telescopic directions is provided as a drive unit DU, thus achieving the compact constitution. The drive unit DU has parallel screw shafts 12, 22 pivotally mounted to a pivotal shaft 30 between upper ends of a first link member L1 and a second link member L2 pivotally around the same pivotal axis to consolidate the operating point of tilting/telescopic operation as one point.
