<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive effective for the long term stabilization of bis(isocyanatomethyl)norbornane widely used as a raw material of a polyurethane-based material, a polyisocyanulate-based material, etc., and suitably used in an optical material field, and effective for the improvement of hue of an optical resin obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable composition containing the bis(isocyanatomethyl)norbornane and a polythiol compound. <P>SOLUTION: As the preservation stabilizer of the bis(isocyanatomethyl)norbornane, 10 to 5,000 ppm triphenyl phosphite is added. By adding the stabilizer, it becomes possible to prevent the yellowing and clouding of the bis(isocyanatomethyl)norbornane, and also improve the hue of the optical resin obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable composition containing the bis(isocyanatomethyl)norbornane and polythiol component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
