A ball joint (90) including a shaft (91) which has a convexly curved bearing surface (93) and flexible annular seals (94, 95) which are sealingly secured to the shaft on either side of the bearing surface (93). Each seal (94, 95) extend outwardly from the shaft and are sealingly secured to an annular ring (100). An annular pivot ring (101) having an inner bearing surface in facing bearing engagement with the shaft bearing surface (93) is slidable relative to the bearing surface (93) wherein in use, the seals (94, 95) flex and the pivot ring (101) slides relative to the bearing surface (93), to allow conical and/or torsional movement of the shaft (91) relative to the annular rings (100) and the pivot ring (101) and the seals (94, 95) maintains sealing engagement between each of the shaft surface and the annular rings (100). |
