PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent enabling uniform formation of a perovskite titanium-containing composite oxide film on a substrate. SOLUTION: This coating agent forms the film of a perovskite titanium-containing composite oxide represented by the general formula, ATiO<SB>3</SB>(wherein site A denotes one or more metal elements selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, Ba and Pb) by being coated on the substrate to deposit a film and burned.
