HIGH PRESSURE INVERTED BELLOWS VALVE

An inverted bellows valve has a two-piece stem (44) interconnecting the valve and actuator for reciprocating axial movement of the stem tip (48). Tapered surfaces (224,230) are advantageously utilized between co-operating elements for self-centering the valve assembly. A wobble collar (226) is disposed in abutting engagement with the stem (44) to compensate for uneven spring forces which could otherwise cock the stem. The bellows subassembly is removable in one piece to facilitate maintenance and replacement.
