METHOD FOR GENERATING LOADING AND UNLOADING SCHEDULE OF QUAY CRANE

A method for generating loading and unloading schedules of quay cranes is provided to rapidly and efficiently calculate loading and unloading schedules of the quay cranes for minimizing makespan of the quay cranes. A method for generating loading and unloading schedules of quay cranes includes the steps of: generating initial data by generating a vessel cluster from a loading instruction and a yard cluster from a yard map(S1); generating an initial solution for the loading and unloading schedule by determining a yard cluster procedure for a selected vessel cluster procedure allocated to each quay crane based on the vessel cluster and the yard cluster(S2); and enhancing the solution from the initial solution in a '2-opt' method(S3).
