摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress luminance unevenness due to variation in source voltage of a driving transistor caused by a driving current while simplifying a pixel circuit capable of correcting variation in luminance due to variation in element characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: As a source voltage switching section which performs switching between a first potential Vcc_H and a second potential Vcc_L based on a power supply pulse DS from a power supply scanning line 105DS, a buffer circuit 530 with inverter constitution is provided between the power supply scanning line 105DS and a drain end D of the driving transistor. The power supply scanning line 105DS is laid in a wiring layer different from a wiring layer where a video signal line 106HS is disposed. The power supply scanning line 105DS which need not have power supply capability is used as a row-directional scanning line output from a driving scan part 105, and buffer circuits 530 are provided for each pixel to reduce a voltage drop due to the driving current. Consequently, suppressed are shading due to a difference in source voltage between a pixel on a farther side and a pixel on a rear side resulting from a wiring resistance and lateral crosstalk during black window pattern display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
