PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently monitor a process. SOLUTION: A process monitor device 30 transmits an IP address acquisition request to make an inquiry about whether a virtual IP address is set in an information processing server 20 by defining the actual IP address of each information processing server 20 as designation, and receives MIB information to be transmitted from the information processing server 20 in response to the IP address acquisition request. The process monitoring device 30 specifies the actual IP address of the information processing server 20 in which the virtual IP address is set on the basis of the MIB information, and stores the process name and the specified actual IP address by associating them with each other in a monitor process database 352. The process monitoring device 30 transmits a process information acquisition request by defining the actual IP address corresponding to the process name of the process as the object of monitoring as destination.
