PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus capable of eliminating the troublesomeness of securing fire in outdoor cooking, being excellent in terms of portability and storage, efficiently performing heating with small power, and demonstrating high convenience during use. SOLUTION: For the cooking apparatus 1, a storage part 5 is provided at the bottom part of the apparatus body 2 of the cooking apparatus 1 and a heating element 20 formed by laminating and coating a polyester film on a plane painted by paint that adds nickel-indium compound oxide to the upper surface of the polyester film, press-fixing and joining electrodes to both ends and connecting a power supply to the electrodes is housed inside the storage part 5. Also, a rechargeable battery is used as the power supply. The power supply is housed inside the handle of the cooking apparatus.
