PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter facilitating the swinging of a lever despite the physique of a user of a moving object by joining the lever with a frame; and a lever type moving object having the adapter. SOLUTION: This lever type moving object is provided with a body part 10 having the frame 14, the lever 32, a rotation restriction mechanism 34 and the adapter 50. When the lever 32 is swung relative to the body part 10, a main wheel 20 rotates. The rotation restriction mechanism 34 has a rotation part 36 rotating with the swinging of the lever 32 and a fixed part 42 fixed to the frame 14. The fixed part 42 has a restriction member 46, when the rotation part 36 rotates, abutting on the rotation part 36 to restrict the rotation range within a prescribed angle range. The adapter 50 is so constituted as to, after attaching the fixed part 42 to the frame 14, change the position in the rotation direction of the rotation part 36 where the rotation part 36 abuts on the restriction member 46.
