<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-AC inverter for driving a load, and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The DC-AC inverter comprises a DC power supply for supplying a DC input voltage; an inverter circuit connected to the DC power supply to convert a DC input voltage to an AC signal used for driving the load; and a control circuit connected to the inverter circuit to set a frequency of the AC signal.
