<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display device which is excellent in display quality, to provide a color filter used for the liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter for transflective liquid crystal display device is equipped with: a transparent substrate; colored layers of a plurality of colors which are arranged on the transparent substrate and have stripe shape; and a plurality of pixels composed of respective colors of colored layers, wherein each colored layer composing the pixel has a region for reflection and a region for transmission, a transparent resin layer is interposed between the transparent substrate and the colored layer on the region for reflection, and the transparent resin layer on an adjacent colored layer in each pixel is located on a different position along the longitudinal direction of the colored layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
