PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly carry out processing when a path and a search word are inputted for accumulated XML documents for calculating conformity. SOLUTION: In the information processor accumulating a plurality of XML documents and ranking the XML documents according to a path and a search word, a storage part stores path information, node information, and word information. The path information stores path statistical information which is statistical information about a set of partial documents under the respective paths as the information of a path unit. Since a processing part updates the path information including the path statistical information before the path and the search word are inputted, the calculation of path statistical information is not required in the calculation of conformity, and consequently, search can be processed at high speed.
