The method for manufacturing a data carrier (1) involves a substrate (6) with at least one security element (7) pressed on it and having, for example, laser data (2, 4, 5) inserted in the substrate. The security element is printed such that tilting of the data carrier reveals different views. The data carrier may be printed with a laser-active print colour which may have black portion that is portioned such that the printed colour may be partially converted with a laser. The printed colour may be converted in a silver-colour, particularly a silver-grey, pigment. |
