Ship loading method using ship stability prognosis to assist loading plan, compares measured weight of loaded cargo during loading with weight in loading plan

The weight of the loaded cargo is measured after each cargo unit has been loaded and after a given number of these units have been loaded. If the measured weight deviates from the weight in the loading plan then the latter and the associated ship stability prognosis are modified. A warning is given when the modified prognosis approaches or exceeds predetermined stability margins.
