An array substrate and a manufacturing method therefor are provided to prevent the increase of contact resistance between an organic semiconductor layer and a gate insulating film, thereby improving an effective mobility characteristic and an on/off ratio characteristic. A gate electrode(107) is formed on a substrate(101). A gate wire(105) is connected with the gage electrode. A gate insulating film(110) is formed as inorganic insulating material having hydrophobicity on the gate electrode and the gate wire. Source and drain electrodes(120,123) are mutually separated and formed on the gate insulating film. A data wire is connected with the source electrode and is crossed with the gate wire. A pixel electrode(160) is contacted and formed with the drain electrode. A self-assembled monolayer(130) having a super-hydrophobicity is formed on the gain insulating film corresponding to a separation region between the source and the drain electrodes. An organic semiconductor layer(135) is formed in both ends of the source and the drain electrodes mutually faced and is formed on the self-assembled monolayer. |
