The invention relates to a plastic/metal bi-material injection machine (1) which enables the injection of plastic and metal bi-material parts using a single machine and process, thereby considerably reducing the time required for the production of plastic/metal bi-material parts in relation to other known production processes in which the metal and plastic parts are produced separately and subsequently assembled or in which the metal parts have to be introduced during a plastic injection process in order to be equipped with overmoulded plastic parts. The essential components of the bi-material injection machine (1) include a metal injection machine (2) which is equipped with a plastic injection system (6).
