In a video sequence, fully motive (motion class 1) and forward (motion class 2) motion of an object is detected for display as binary colouring of the video. The resultant data then undergoes predictive compression for transmission or broadcast in order to reduce transmission bandwidth. The motion classification may be performed using Boolean logic on three frames of the video sequence by means of a dual Boolean AND and serial 2-input OR based logic network. The compression may be performed using a plastic, polymer or organic compound semiconductor device or circuit. |
