<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for examining superresolution images, which uses image data of a correct image and an image resulting from a superresolution process and properly compares differences between both the data sets to enable the result of the superresolution process to be examined. <P>SOLUTION: In the system, a determination matrix managing means 6 generates scattering point correlation matrices and clusters which are candidates of corresponsive relations between scattering points of the correct image and the image resulting from the superresolution process, and a correlation / examination managing means 8 calculates scattering point correlation matrices and correlation evaluation values with respect to the clusters based on the scattering point correlation matrices, and a cluster managing means 11 records and manages these calculated results, and an examination result interface means 12 displays examination results, thereby examining the image resulting from the superresolution process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
