FIELD: agriculture, in particular, animal marking equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing with lower movable stop. Immovable pincers link, sleeve and needle-type number shoe are fixed on casing. Movable pincers link is pivotally mounted on casing and connected with spring-loaded stem carrying piston, movable stop and lock nut. Container for tattooing liquid fixed on sleeve is provided with overflow valve mounted within container case. During movement of stem, piston replaces required amount of tattooing liquid through lock valve into chamber with following feeding through openings of distributing plate to needles and further to animal ear. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider operational capabilities by using apparatus for numeration of various kinds of animals of different age and sex. 3 cl, 3 dwg øøø1
