A method for prevention and treatment of toxic dystrophy, passing into myocarditis at the diphtheria, comprises standard therapy with standard doses of antitoxic serum and antibiotics. As from first day of diphtheria treatment the sessions of hyperbaric oxygenation are carried out in a one-man room at the pressure of 1.5 atmospheres (0.145 micropascals) for 45 minutes one time per a day. At the localized diphtheria 4-5 sessions are performed and at the disseminated and toxic diphtheria – to 9 sessions. |
