A method for providing a representative image of video in a mobile terminal is provided to help a user recognize content of video by displaying representative frames of video together with the importance of each frame. A video list including one or more video is displayed on a display unit(S300). One video is selected from the video list(S310). A plurality of representative frames selected from image frames constituting the selected video according to a certain select reference are all displayed on the display unit according to the order of a reproduction time(S320). One representative frame is selected from the plurality of displayed representative frames(S330). The selected video is reproduced starting from the selected representative frame(S340). |
