An apparatus for checking a car door's open status using an optical fiber and a car door using the same are provided to easily recognize which one of car doors is opened by making the optical fiber emitted. A door glass(300) is formed at a car door frame(200). A door trim(400) is formed at a surface of the door frame. A car door open checking apparatus(100) lets a drivers know a door open status. The car door open checking apparatus includes a fiber member for a car door trim, a light source apparatus, a controlling apparatus, and a power apparatus. The fiber member for a car door trim is formed on the car door rim and includes optical fibers. The light source apparatus supplies light to the optical fibers. The controlling apparatus receives a signal from a car door switch or an operational bottom to control the light source. The power apparatus receives a control signal of the controlling apparatus to supply power to the light source apparatus.
