APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAY OF UPNP SERVICE ON AN UPNP DEVICE

A device and a method for displaying a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) service in a UPnP device are provided to prevent execution of an incorrect or undesired UPnP service by displaying information for the available UPnP services when a user requests the UPnP service. A UPnP interface(100) receives a UPnP service request from a control point, and a UPnP service analyzer(120) analyzes a requested UPnP service. A UPnP service display unit(140) displays a UPnP service state corresponding to an analysis result in a UPnP service device such as an image forming device. The UPnP service state includes a type and failure of the requested UPnP service.
