Easily detachable LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp and socket are provided to obtain various brightness and color luminous intensity distribution according to positions required by a user by arranging a plurality of LED lamps at any position of the socket. An LED lamp(10) includes at least three electrodes(14a,14a',14a'',14a''',14b) which are installed on a lower part of a cap(12) including an LED device(11) to be projected laterally and downward. Each of the electrodes is formed at upper and lower parts with respect to an insulating layer(14c) made of insulating material. The lateral electrodes are formed on left and right sides of the lower part of the cap in a long symmetrical shape. A socket(20) includes a C-shaped channel base(22), one electrode surface(23) formed on an inner bottom surface of the channel base, and the other electrode surfaces(24,24',24'',24''') formed on an inner lateral surface of the channel base. The C-shaped channel base has slits(21) continuously opened along a longitudinal direction. The other electrode surfaces are connected to the lateral electrodes.
