An apparatus for generating power is provided to improve stability by compensating for an error generated between train shafts and an output shaft by using a height of a receiving unit projected from a top surface of a plate. An apparatus for generating power includes a motor, a plate(120), and a cover unit(160). The motor generates power. The plate covers one surface of the motor. The cover unit covers an outer circumferential surface of the motor. The cover unit is formed in a pipe shape with an open side and a closed side covered by the plate. An inner circumferential surface of the cover unit is formed to correspond to the outer circumferential surface of the motor.
