A display apparatus and an information processing apparatus are provided to make a line formation area at the center of a heat conduction plate wider than another portion thereof. In a back cover(300) of the display apparatus(12), the thickness(d1) of a wall at the surface side is thinner than the thickness(d2) of a wall of a back side by a penetration hole(301) as a boundary. In a surface cover(100), the thickness(d3) of a wall at the surface side is the same as the difference(d1-d2) of thickness of a wall by a protrusion(101) as a boundary. Accordingly, when the surface cover is connected with the back cover, the outer surface of a housing(12a) is connected smoothly. The protrusion of the surface cover is pressed by the side of the back cover and bent to the outside of the housing. The protrusion is also inserted into the penetration hole of the back cover. Also, a subsidiary protrusion(302) is inserted into the back cover, so that the surface cover and the back cover are fixed.
