An electronic ink display apparatus and an active device array substrate are provided to arrange a conduction pattern to a peripheral circuit area of the active device array substrate and to connect the conduction pattern with an ESD(Electro-Static Discharge) protection circuit electrically. A front panel(300) is arranged at a side of an active device array substrate(200). The active device array substrate includes the first substrate(210). The first substrate has a display area and a peripheral circuit area arranged at the circumference of the display area. Plural scan and data lines are formed on the first substrate. Plural pixel units(240) are arranged on the display area of the first substrate and connected with the corresponding scan line of the scan lines and the corresponding data line of the data lines electrically. An ESD protection circuit is arranged at the peripheral circuit area of the first substrate and connected with the scan line and the data line electrically. At least one conduction pattern is arranged at the peripheral circuit area of the first substrate and connected with the ESD protection circuit electrically. The front panel includes the second substrate(310). A common electrode(320) is arranged on the second substrate. An electronic ink material layer(330) is arranged between the common electrode and the active device array substrate.
