A deodorizing agent and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to remove the material that causes bad smell of various bad smell removing devices by using activated carbon. A deodorizing agent is made by making 0.1 to 10 weight% of copper compound and 8 weight% of manganese compound adhered to the surface of assembled activated carbon whose mean size is 1mm to 5mm. The deodorizing agent is an exclusive deodorizing agent for use in a food disposal device that removes methyl mercaptan, acetaldehyde, ammonia and acetic acid. The deodorizing agent further includes an assembled activated carbon made by making one or more of potassium hydroxide and silicon dioxide adhered to the surface of the assembled activated carbon whose mean particle size is 1 to 5 mm. |
