<p>A service zone including a plurality of floors is set in a building. Also, in the building is provided an elevator for serving each floor in the service zone as a service floor. When fire occurs in the building, an evacuation assistance device for the elevator manages operation of the elevator so that the elevator transports persons left in the building to an evacuation floor. The evacuation assistance device has a management device used for evacuation and an evacuation guidance device. The management device used for evacuation has a rescue floor setting section for setting, relative to the service zone, a predetermined service floor as a rescue floor and also has an evacuation operation instruction section for controlling the elevator to cause an elevator car to perform evacuation operation in which the car reciprocates between the rescue floor and the evacuation floor. The evacuation guidance device is placed in the building and informs, based on information from the management device used for evacuation, the persons in the building of evacuation information including information necessary for specifying the rescue floor.</p> |
