An apparatus of preventing molten material from being solidified in a runner of a blast furnace is provided to improving working safety and productivity by automating the solidification prevention process. An apparatus of preventing molten material from being solidified in a runner(120) of a blast furnace comprises a blast furnace gas supply pipe(10), a spray box(20), a flow rate control valve(14) and a control device(50) for controlling the flow rate control valve. The blast furnace gas supply pipe is installed to provide gas of the blast furnace to the runner. The spray box is installed at front and rear sides of a skimmer(130) of the runner to be connected to a branch pipe(13) branched from a main pipe(11) of the blast furnace gas supply pipe. The flow rate control valve varies the injection amount of blast furnace gas. The spray box is coupled to a loader(31), which passes through a cover(127) of the blast furnace. A cylinder(30) varies a vertical position of the spray box by the control device.
