<p>The invention relates to colour stereo image producing systems and can be used for developing stereoscopic computer monitors and TV-sets. Said invention makes it possible to produce a high-definition colour stereo image which is devoid of geometrical distortions and has a wide field of view. The components (colour channels) of the inventive system can be displayed simultaneously or not, for example sequentially. In the first case, when the left image of a stereopair is displayed, the illumination source or the set of illumination sources corresponding to the set of primary colours Z<SUB>left </SUB>operates, and when the right image of a stereopair is displayed, the illumination source or the set of illumination sources corresponding to the set of primary colours Z<SUB>right </SUB>operates. In the second case, when each component (a colour channel) of the image is displayed, the illumination source of a corresponding primary colour operates. In the case of the sequential display of components (colour channels) of the image, when only one component is displayed at each instant, the matrix display devoid of the matrix of spectral filters can be used.</p> |
