<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle behavior control device wherein vehicle behavior can be quickly stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The front wheels 41 of a vehicle 1 can be driven by an engine 10 and the rear wheels 42 can be driven by a motor generator 20 capable of regenerative braking. When an engine brake acts on the front wheels 41 while the vehicle 1 is turning, the motor generator 20 is caused to generate regenerative braking force based on engine brake force to apply a regenerative brake to the rear wheels 42. When the vehicle 1 is running, the motor generator 20 constantly drives the rear wheels 42 or applies a regenerative brake according to the situation. When a regenerative brake is applied to the rear wheels 42 while the vehicle 1 is turning, therefore, the brake can be applied with high response. As a result, even when braking force is produced in the front wheels 41 by engine brake force to cause the vehicle to tack in while the vehicle 1 is turning, the tack-in can be quickly suppressed.
