<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can improve operability of setting information regarding a printing process. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1401 scans an original paper document 1400 and outputs a printed material 1404 subjected to setting of synthetic paper or the like by comparing a paper fingerprint 1402 as a retrieval key with image data 1403. The image forming apparatus 1401 comprises means for storing the paper fingerprint 1402 and the image data 1403 with them being associated with each other, thereby to make possible to realize image forming processing as is set using the associated information in the event of printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
