COMMUNICATION METHOD AND RADIO COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily establish a connection with a radio base station so as to stably execute cell search, even when a radio communication terminal is located at a cell edge in a multi-band mobile communication method. SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal is provided with: a first judgment unit 13 for judging whether or not a broadcast map can be received from a plurality of radio base stations; a second judgment unit 14 for judging whether or not an AAS diversity map can be received in the ascending order of the used frequency bands of the radio base stations when it is judged that the broadcast map cannot be received; and a communication control unit 15 for selecting the radio base station which is judged to be capable of receiving the AAS diversity map as a radio base station of the connection destination and performing communications with the selected radio base station.
