PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier circuit capable of performing the variable control for its slew rate arbitrarily, without inducing distortion and oscillation in an amplification output. SOLUTION: An amplifier A1 is the amplifier circuit comprising amplifying portions (P3-P7 and N3-N4), in which a phase compensation portion composed of resistors (Rc0-Rc3) and a capacitor element (Cc1) is incorporated at the output stage, and reference current formation portions (P1-P2, N1-N2, and Rb0-Rb3) for generating bias current (i2 and i3) of the amplifying portions. The reference current formation portions comprise slew rate variable means (SW11-SW13) for switching a current value of bias current (i2 and i3), according to predetermined control signals (HP, N and PS). The phase compensation portion has compensation quantity variable means (SW21-SW23) for switching resistance value of the resistors (Rc0-Rc3), according to the control signals (HP, N and PS).
