This invention regards the application of a filter containing Bio-ceramics for machines and equipment using or having contact with water. For example, it regards dishwashers, clothes washers and ovens; fruit, vegetable and food washing machines; coffee machines, ice makers, showers and hydro-massage showers; filters for the refrigeration and carbonation of drinking water, car washes and boilers, whether they are used for industrial or domestic purposes, and in general, all machines and equipment that use water. The aim of this invention is to reduce the consumption of detergents and avoid the formation of limescale, as well as to eliminate that which has already formed. For the sake of simplicity, in the description of the types of machines above list as a "machine".
