<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system capable of performing emergency work with simple operation even when a failure occurs in a remote control device. <P>SOLUTION: When a failure occurs in a volume resistance 24 to make it impossible to drive a hot water supply device 10, a serviceman who investigates the failure in the hot water supply device 10 checks the lighting-on of an alarm indication part 23b and recognizes that the failure in the hot water supply system 1 is caused by poor conduction of the volume resistance 24. The serviceman switches a dip switch 13c of a control circuit 13 from an OFF-state into an ON-state. At this time, a clock counter provided in the control circuit 13 starts time counting. After reading a specified value SGr out of a memory, a sub control circuit 13b gives subtracting processing to the specified value SGr and a detected value SGt.
