PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that emission of light becomes uneven due to uneven thickness of a film when an organic light emitting layer is formed by a wet film forming method on the upper surface of an inorganic hole injecting layer, because a pin-hole or a foreign matter is easily generated on the inorganic hole injecting layer in the process of forming a film. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element manufactured by the method includes: a transparent anode on the upper surface of a transparent substrate; an insulating separation wall for covering the transparent electrode end part between the transparent electrodes on the upper surface of the transparent surface; a hole injecting layer in the thickness ranging from 0.1 nm to 200 nm formed of at least a kind of inorganic substance on the upper surface of the transparent electrode between the insulating separation walls; a hole transferring layer formed of at least a kind of polymer compound on the upper surface of the hole injecting layer between the insulating separation walls; an organic light-emitting layer formed of a polymer compound on the upper surface of the hole transferring layer between the insulating separation walls; and a cathode on the upper surfaces of the organic light emitting layer and the insulating separation wall.
