PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of improving motor efficiency by suppressing distortion of a stator core, being reduced in noise and vibration. SOLUTION: A stator 5 includes the stator core 510, mounting end plates 540 respectively mounted on both end surfaces of the stator core 510 in the direction of the axis 510a thereof, and coils 520 wound around the stator core 510.
