PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control generation and non-generation of vehicle approach informing sound at low cost. SOLUTION: When the vehicle speed is slow and the rotating speed of an informing sound generation device 20 is low, since centrifugal force generated in a bell 30 positioned inside the informing sound generation device 20 is small, the bell 30 is moved, due to its own weight, from a recessed part 28 moved to the rotating direction to a lower side recessed part 28, to generate informing sound. When the vehicle speed increases and the rotating speed of the informing sound generation device 20 exceeds predetermined rotating speed, since centrifugal force generated in the bell 30 becomes larger than its own weight, the bell 30 is not detached from the recessed part 28 and rotated integrally with the informing sound generation device 20, so as not to generate informing sound.
