<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ID number from being stolen even if the operation of inputting the ID number from the input part of an ID number input device is viewed. <P>SOLUTION: The ID number input device comprises: an input part with numerical keys; a display part for displaying information; and an information processing part for performing information processing. The information processing part computes a transformed numerical value obtained by transforming an ID number using a numerical value transformation method that is a predetermined bijection. Instructions to input the transformed numerical value from the input part are displayed on the display part. After an operator has inputted the transformed numerical value from the input part in accordance with the instructions on the display part, the information processing part calculates the ID number by subjecting the inputted transformed numerical value to transformation inverse to the computation by the numerical value transformation method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
