摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve inversion of applied voltages with high accuracy while suppressing flicker to prevent image persistence by a simple circuit structure and a simple control, and to achieve a short circuit between electrodes of a liquid crystal without generating a DC offset when no voltage is applied to the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal (30) of an in-plane switching system is positively employed to decrease a driving load and to facilitate fast voltage changes on both electrodes of the liquid crystal. A memory circuit 10 functions only as a voltage supply source, while polarity inversion of voltages applied on the liquid crystal is carried out by an applied voltage inversion circuit 20. The applied voltage inversion circuit 20 receives complementary clocks (CK, /CK) having inverted phases from each other and fast changes voltage supply passages to the liquid crystal 30 at the timing of inverting levels of the complementary clocks.
