PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer polyol which serves as a raw material for polyurethanes, markedly improves the mechanical properties of the polyurethanes, facilitates the maintenance of the manufacturing process of the polyurethanes and can be produced with an enhanced productivity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process manufactures a polymer polyol (PL) containing polymer particles (JR) whose constitutional unit is an ethylenic unsaturated monomer involving styrene and acrylonitrile and includes n times of specific polymerization steps. Of the total numbers of the mole of the monomer, the styrene accounts for 33-83 mol% and the acrylonitrile 17-67 mol%. The arithmetic standard deviation of the particle size of (JR) is 0.1-0.5. The content of (JR) having particle sizes of≥0.1 mm is 0-30×10<SP>-4</SP>% based on the weight of the polymer polyol (A). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
