PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical concentrated type detergent for an adhesive, excellent in cleaning and removing property, preservation property and non-corrosive property to a processing substrate. SOLUTION: This detergent for the adhesive is characterized by containing (a) an alkaline agent containing at least an alkali metal hydroxide and alkali metal phosphate and (b) a surfactant containing at least a nonionic surfactant in (c) an aqueous medium consisting of a hydrophilic organic solvent and water, and having >25°C clouding point.
