<p>The present invention relates to an adhesive tape comprising a wet-laid nonwoven backing material and an adhesive which is useful as a wire harnessing tape in automotive industry. The nonwoven comprises synthetic fibers, cellulose fibers and a binder. Moreover, a process for manufacturing the adhesive tape is provided.</p>
